Indian National Congress was not in favor of the unification of Odisha

Indian National Congress was not in favor of the unification of Odisha

Indian National Congress in December 1903, Madras Session passed a resolution opposing the merger of Ganjam with Odisha.

Simon Commission came to India in 1928 The Indian National Congress decided to boycott the commission. But the Utkala Union Conference extended co-operation to the commission and submitted its memorandum. In 1928 Motilal Nehru in Calcutta Session of the Congress criticizes the congress leader from Odisha for co-operating with Simon commission. As a protest, Biswanath Das and Pt. Nilakantha Das made a walk out.

Glorious 10 Mistake By Odia Leading Newspaper Samaja in a single news.

Glorious 10 Mistake By Odia Leading Newspaper Samaja in a single news.

On the auspicious occasion of “Utkala Dibasa” one awareness program was organized at Kendrapara. Today Odia Leading Newspaper “Samaja” published an article on that. Attached is the paper clipping that appears on 10 Date: 07/04/2010.

Have a thorough look at the snapshot. While we like common stupid people are organizing/participating in awareness program, what these super genius reporter are doing with our own Odia Language.

Even if its news towards Odia Language Awareness Program but SAMAJA did manage its level best to show its respect for the language by committing 10 mistakes.

Can anyone suggest what to do with the reporter?

Thanks a lot to the people at SAMAJA for providing such a wonderful gift in the month of Utkala Dibasha.

India’s unity can not be strongly founded if one part becomes strong at the cost of the other parts.

Reacting to the attitude of some National Leader
MADHUBABU had written a letter to
Shree Aurobinda Ghosh
in which he wrote.

You the Bangali leaders protested against the partition of Bengal. But Odisha has been vivisected and truncated; you people were not demanding its unification. The logic on which you are agitating against the partition of Bengal, in the said logic Utkal first must be unified. India’s unity can not be strongly founded if one part becomes strong at the cost of the other parts.
